【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverssolid,dry-cast,concretebuildingbrickintendedforinteriorandexterioruseinconstructingstructuralmasonry,andaremadefromportlandcement,water,andsuitablemineralaggregateswithorwithouttheinclusionofothermaterials.Note1SpecificationC1634addressesconcretefacingbrickusedinfacingapplicationsandotherexposures(previouslyreferredtoinearliereditionsofthisstandardasGradeN-foruseasarchitecturalveneerandfacingunitsinexteriorwallsandforusewherehigh-strengthandresistancetomoisturepenetrationandseverefrostactionaredesired).ThisspecificationdiffersfromC1634inthatitaddressespropertiesforconcretebuildingbrickusedinnon-facing,utilitarianapplications(previouslyreferredtoinearliereditionsofthisspecificationasGradeS-forgeneralusewheremoderatestrengthandresistancetofrostactionandmoisturepenetrationarerequired).1.2Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthestandard.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Note2Concretebuildingbrickcoveredbythisspecificationaremadefromlightweightornormalweightaggregates,orboth.Note3Whenparticularfeaturesaredesired,suchasdensityclassification,highcompressivestrength,surfacetexturesforappearanceorbond,finish,color,fireresistance,insulation,acousticalproperties,orotherspecialfeatures,suchpropertiesshouldbespecifiedseparatelybythepurchaser.Suppliersshouldbeconsultedastotheavailabilityofconcretebuildingbrickhavingthedesiredfeatures.
