【摘要】:ThisStandardspecifiesthegeometryandmethodofuse(installationandflowingconditions)fororificeplates,nozzles,andVenturitubeswhentheyareinsertedinaconduitrunningfull,todeterminetherateofthefluidflowing.Italsogivesnecessaryinformationforcalculatingflowrateanditsassociateduncertainty.Itappliesonlytopressuredifferencedevicesinwhichtheflowremainsturbulentandsubsonicthroughoutthemeasuringsectionissteadyorvariesonlyslowlywithtimeandthefluidisconsideredsingle-phased.Inaddition,theuncertaintiesaregivenintheappropriatesectionsofthisStandardforeachofthesedevices,withinthepipesizeandReynoldsnumberlimitswhicharespecified.Itdealswithdevicesforwhichsufficientcalibrationshavebeenmadetoenablethespecificationofcoherentsystemsofapplicationandtoenablecalculationstobemadewithcertainpredictablelimitsofuncertainty.Thedevicesintroducedintothepipearecalledprimarydevices.Thetermprimarydevicealsoincludesthepressuretapsandtheassociatedupstreamanddownstreampiping.Allotherinstrumentsordevicesrequiredforthemeasurementortransmissionofthedifferentialpressuresareknownassecondaryelements,andincombinationarereferredtoasthesecondarydevices.ThisStandardcoverstheprimarydevices;secondarydeviceswillbementionedonlyoccasionally.ThefollowingprimarydevicesarecoveredinthisStandard:(a)orificeplates,whichcanbeusedwiththefollowingarrangementsofpressuretaps:(1)flangepressuretaps,(2)DandD/2pressuretaps,(3)cornerpressuretaps.(b)nozzles:(1)ASMElongradiusnozzles.(c)Venturitubes:(1)classicalVenturitubes.ThisStandarddoesnotpipeorconduitsizesunder50mm{2in.}nominal.ThisStandarddoesnotapplytoASMEPerformanceTestCodemeasurements.TheStandardisapplicabletomeasurementofflowofanyfluid,(liquid,vapor,orgas).
