【摘要】:Theopticalangulardeviationofflattransparentparts,suchasaircraftwindshields,canopies,cabinwindows,andvisors,canbemeasuredusingthesemethods.Angulardeviationinawindscreenorvisorcancauseobjectstoappearatalocationdifferentfromwheretheyactuallyare.Variationsinangulardeviationcanbeusedtocharacterizedistortionandmagnificationintransparentparts.Also,angulardeviationmeasurementsmadefromthetypicalrightandlefteyepositionsforawindscreenorothertransparentmediumcanbeusedtodeterminebinoculardisparitydifferences(seeTestMethodF1181).1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementoftheopticalangulardeviationofalightrayimposedbyflattransparentpartssuchasacommercialormilitaryaircraftwindshield,canopyorcabinwindow.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.2.1Exceptions8212;Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Also,printsizeisprovidedininch-poundmeasurements.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtomeasuretheverticaldistancebetweenanytwolevelsonthefaceoftheflooring,thatis,betweenanytwoflatareas,betweenaflatareaandanypartofatexturedarea,orbetweentwotexturedareas.Thisverticaldistancemaybeofinterestinitselforitmaybeappliedtothequestionsof:(1)howmuchofthethicknessoftheflooringisavailablebeforethepatternisdestroyed;or(2)howdeepthedepressedareasmustbebeforevalleyprintinginkisnotwalkedoninnormaltraffic.1.1Twoimportantcharacteristicsinvolvedinthemanufactureofresilientflooringrelatetothesmoothnessofthewearsurfaceandthehardnessofthelayersunderthewearsurface.Thesurfacesmayvaryfromcompletelytexturedareastoportionsthatareflatbutseparatedbytexturedareas.Thistestmethodcoversflooringwiththeseinterruptedwearsurfaceswhicharenotsupportedbysoft,cushionedlayers.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
