【摘要】:LaboratoriesperformingpetroleumtestmethodscanusethispracticetosetanacceptabletolerancezoneforinfrequenttestingofCSorCCSmaterial,basedonx03B5;,andadesiredTypeIerror,forthepurposeofascertainingifthetestmethodisbeingperformedwithoutbias.Thispracticecanbeusedtoestimatethepowerofcorrectlydetectingbiasofdifferentmagnitudes,usingtheacceptabletolerancezonesetin4.1,andhence,gaininsightintothelimitationofthetruebiasdetectioncapabilityassociatedwiththisacceptabletolerancezone.Withthisinsight,trade-offscanbemadebetweendesiredTypeIerrorversusdesiredbiasdetectioncapabilitytosuitspecificbusinessneeds.TheCStestingactivitiesdescribedinthispracticeareintendedtoaugmentandnotreplacetheregularstatisticalmonitoringoftestmethodperformanceasdescribedinPracticeD6299.1.1ThispracticecoversamethodologyforestablishinganacceptabletolerancezoneforthedifferencebetweentheresultobtainedfromasingleimplementationofatestmethodonaCSanditsARV,basedonuser-specifiedTypeIerror,theuser-establishedtestmethodprecision,thestandarderroroftheARV,andapresumedhypothesisthatthelaboratoryisperformingthetestmethodwithoutbias.Note18212;Throughoutthispractice,thetermuserreferstotheuserofthispractice;andthetermlaboratory(see1.1)referstotheorganizationorentitythatisperformingthetestmethod.1.2Forthetolerancezoneestablishedin1.1,amethodologyispresentedtoestimatetheprobabilitythatthesingletestresultwillfalloutsidethezone,intheeventthatthereisabias(positiveornegative)ofauser-specifiedmagnitudethatisdeemedtobeofpracticalconcern(thatis,thepresumedhypothesisisnottrue).1.3ThispracticeisintendedforASTMCommitteeD02testmethodsthatproduceresultsonacontinuousnumericalscale.1.4Thispracticeassumesthatthenormal(Gaussian)modelisadequateforthedescriptionandpredictionofmeasurementsystembehaviorwhenitisinastateofstatisticalcontrol.Note28212;WhilethispracticedoesnotcoverscenariosinwhichmultipleresultsareobtainedonthesameCSundersiteprecisionorrepeatabilityconditions,thestatisticalconceptspresentedareapplicable.UserswishingtoapplytheseconceptsforthescenariosdescribedareadvisedtoconsultastatisticianandtoreferencetheCSmethodologydescribedinPracticeD6299.
